These are giant trucks called Vibro-Seis Trucks, or as I would like to say “Earthquake Machines”. In conjunction with nodes planted in the ground, these trucks use the plates below the chassis to vibrate the ground and test for fault lines. They belong to a company called NordalSeismic LLC. Probably some of the strangest vehicles I’ve ever seen, and yes, I felt the ground shaking because of them.
